INDEX Dubai 2019: DezynCle’s Gateway into the Global Design Community

INDEX Dubai 2019: DezynCle's First Active Engagement with the Global Design Community

INDEX — the region’s largest interior design event — is finally happening on September 17-19. And guess who’s going to be there this year? Yes! You got that right. For the first time, DezynCle will be present at INDEX Dubai 2019 to spread the word regarding our platform and growing design community. But why is it so important for us to take part in this particular event?

1- INDEX Dubai is the largest gathering for the design community.

Since 1999, INDEX has been the Middle East and North Africa’s largest gathering for the design community. It’s an annual opportunity for architects, interior designers, developers and procurement professionals from around the world to connect and interact. Thus, paving the way for new possible collaborations between new brands and startups.

2- INDEX is where new ideas are born every year.

Many exhibitors wait a whole year just to announce their new innovations at INDEX Dubai. In March 2018, with over 400 exhibitors, INDEX presented a fusion of new product launches, design ideas and innovations. Last year’s show also co-located with Workspace and Surface Design Middle East.

As for this year, INDEX Dubai 2019 will co-locate with each of Workspace; Surface design; FIM, Leisure Show; Hotel Show Dubai and INDEX Home as part of Middle East Design & Hospitality Week. So you can probably tell how excited we are to present DezynCle’s innovative contest-based concept within such a multitude of possibility!

3- INDEX is the ultimate platform for interior products.

Last year’s INDEX running adjacent to its sister show FIM offered the design industry a one-stop-shop for high-end and value-driven furniture and décor. It attracted more than 400 manufacturing and supply companies from across the continents almost like a modern-day Silk Road!

“The INDEX show will focus on individual designs and value-driven products from Asia, sat alongside premium products from Europe, with design houses from the likes of Italy, India and China giving us great variance. Together, they will allow the show to present a wide selection of interior products to suit the taste and budgets of all our visitors.” said director Samantha Kane-Macdonald about last year’s edition of the show.

We expect INDEX Dubai 2019 to attract, at least, as many furniture and finishing brands as last year’s. In other words, a whole bunch of new fancy products to be added to DezynCle!

4- INDEX Dubai is where many success stories have been written.

It’s no surprise that many companies see INDEX as the gate to enter the GCC market and strengthen their brands. To state a fact, 70% of those who exhibit at INDEX don’t exhibit at any other event in the region. If anything, that’s because they “understand that INDEX is the most important design event for the region, offering exhibitors access to over 50,000 industry professionals.”

The INDEX Dubai official website provides a number of inspiring success stories of a couple of international brands who chose this show to market themselves. One of those stories is that of The Wilson Fabrics, a company specializing in Australian made blind & drapery fabrics. This company, who chose INDEX as their first-ever exhibition, was able to successfully launch their Middle East office and double their target through a couple of objects they’ve set before the show.

Following a similar strategy, we at DezynCle aim to write a new chapter in the story of our platform, and we are looking forward to having you there with us! Come see us at INDEX Dubai 2019 between 17/09/2019 and 19/09/2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre! We will be exhibiting at stand no. 3F133, from 11 AM to 8 PM.
